Sacred History
It is said that the height and color of the Pratima match the Jivit Parshwanath Bhagwan (the living one).
This Pratimaji is said to be at least 2,000 years old and was carved from marakat mani (gem) by Dharnendra Dev himself.
A Jain Acharya later requested Dharnendra Dev to transform the precious gem Pratima into a normal marble type due to the risk of theft.
Through divine bhakti to Parshwanath Bhagwan, Raja Ajitsen and Rani Padmavati were blessed with a child after a long time.
A Jirnodhar was performed under Acharya Abhay Dev Suriji Maharaj, followed by many others.
The Jain Sangh once lost custody of the Jinalay but later regained it.
