Ghandar was a big market city from where businesses from happening all over the world.
This city was destroyed by Mughal’s and Englishmen, at that time many Jinalay’s were also broken down, but the Pratima was secured by the Shravak Sangh.
After the destruction of Mughal’s and Englishmen, only Jinalay of Mahaveer Swami Bhagwan and Jinalay of Amizara Pasrhwanath Bhagwan’s was left unbroken.
The Pratishtha of Amizara Parshwanath Bhagwan was done in VK 1659 by AA. Vijaysensuriji Maharaj.
Amizara Parshwanath comes from the word “ami” meaning Amrut, and devotees say Amrut used to oozed from the Pratima on many occasions and hence the Pratima is called Amizara Parshwanath.
