Sacred History

  • Ghandar was a big market city from where businesses from happening all over the world.
  • This city was destroyed by Mughal’s and Englishmen, at that time many Jinalay’s were also broken down, but the Pratima was secured by the Shravak Sangh.
  • After the destruction of Mughal’s and Englishmen, only Jinalay of Mahaveer Swami Bhagwan and Jinalay of Amizara Pasrhwanath Bhagwan’s was left unbroken.
  • The Pratishtha of Amizara Parshwanath Bhagwan was done in VK 1659 by AA. Vijaysensuriji Maharaj.
  • Amizara Parshwanath comes from the word “ami” meaning Amrut, and devotees say Amrut used to oozed from the Pratima on many occasions and hence the Pratima is called Amizara Parshwanath.
