A Shravak known as Meghji Udiya was very unhappy and in depression due to his loans So, he decided to commit suicide.
Before committing it, he had a dream indicating his bright future.
He received a lot of money, out of which he repaid his loans which were almost half of the money he received.
Then he went to Godhra, where he found a Pratima of Parshwanath Bhagwan and He became very happy and brought the Pratima in Suthari (his own village).
A kind merchant named meghanshah wanted to feed the whole village, but he was worried that the food and ghee would not be enough. He prayed to Parshwanath Bhagwan.
He placed the small idol of Parshwanath Bhagwan in a pot of ghee and began serving. The ghee did not finish. It kept flowing like a wave until everyone had eaten well.
The name “Grut Kallol” comes from two words: “grut/ghrut” means ghee and “kallol” means wave , the name is in remenmbrance of that miracle .
