The first Pratishta of Kareda was performed in Vikram Samvat 861 (over 1,200 years ago) by Kheem Singh (Oswal) under the pawan nishra of Pu. Jayanand Suriji Maharaj.
In VK 1039, a Jirnodhar was completed, and Acharya Yashobhadrasuri Ji Maharaj performed the re-pratishta of the Moolnayak Bhagwan.
A seven-storey Jinalay was built by Zanzar Shah (son of Mahamantri Pethad Shah) in the 14th century.
The last Jirnodhar was done in VK 2033, followed by a re-pratishta performed by Acharya Shree Sushilsuriji Maharaj.
Pillar inscriptions dating to Vikram Samvat 55 suggest there may have been a prachin jinalay at this location 2,000 years ago.
