Sacred History

  • This village is also known as Medanipur/Medatapur which was established before12th Century.
  • Jagat guru Shri Hirsuriji Maharaj went to meet Akbar Raja in Fatehpur Sikri, at Akbar’s own invitation, so he had a stay in Medtapur in VK 1639.
  • Over there, there were many restrictions against the religious processions and other rituals.
  • Hirsuriji Maharaj removed all the restrictions by preaching the Sultan of Medtapur.
  • Jinalay was built in VK 1689 . The Pratima has an inscription of Vk 1697
  • The name Vijaychintamani is because, the Bhagwan is like Chintamani Ratna which fulfiles all the wishes.
