Pethad Shah Mantri had built a Jinalay of Chandraprabhu Swami Bhagwan and Parshwanath Bhagwan’s Jinalay was built by Mahamantri Vastupal-Tejpal.
This Pratima is in Jinalay where Mulnayak is Adinath Bhagwan.
A washerman reportedly dreamed of an idol hidden along the Orsang (Oresangh) River between Sankheda and Badarpur near Dabhoi. Guided by the dream, locals recovered a Parshwanath murti from the sand and brought it to Dabhoi for worship.
The name “Pragat Prabhavi” combines two ideas: pragat (manifest/revealed) and prabhavi (powerful/effective), reflecting the belief that the idol reveals immediate grace to devotees.
Dabhoi is remembered as the birthplace of Acharya Munichandrasuri and the place where
Mahopadhyay Yashovijayji took his last breath (often dated to V.S. 1743)
