Sacred History

• This village is known as Shristhal.
• Maharaj Mulraj began a Shivalay that remained incomplete; it was finished by Sidh Raj Jay Sinh, and the village became to be known as Sidhpur.
• At the time of Sidh Raj Jay Sinh, his mantri Alingdev built a Chaumukhi Jinalay where Parshwanath Bhagwan's Pratishtha was performed.
• Allahuddin Khilji intended to destroy the Jinalay, but a Bhojak challenged him by claiming the pratima is "living".
• After 99 diyas kept in front of bhagwan lit up miraculously during his bhakti, Khilji called the idol the "real Badshah" meaning Sultan.
• The Pratima is said to be Samprati Kalin, and a Jirnodhar was done in VK 2015.
• Out of 5 only 2 jinalay are present at today .
